Mountain Bike

A fast, challenging, 7.4 mile course starting from the Mima Falls Trailhead area off of Marksman RD.

RIDERS: The start of the course is tight- we’ll be positioning racers at the start to make sure that there are no clogs on the trail. If you have somebody faster than you behind you, let them pass, please.

The course starts from the lower parking area, heads up a short section of road and enters Mima Porter Trail #8.  Next is a turn on to Green Line #6, a brief section of road (E-9500) leads to trail #6 near Margaret McKenny Camp.  The trail turns and joins a re-route that was new last year with a bridge built by Friends of Capitol Forest leading to a new section of #6a.  Follow the Green Line 6a Trail to GL 6 (left), right up trail #10 and back towards Mima Campground on Mima Porter 8 (left).  Mima Port 8 leads back to the start  for the transition to the Road Bike course.

The course will be marked AND will be open to the general public.  Please yield to other trail users.
