Recreation Northwest Trails Coalition exists to champion interconnected regional trails as active transportation networks across Whatcom County.

  • We are hosting work parties with the City of Bellingham to fulfill the American Trails Capacity Program grant we received in June. This work will support stewardship and volunteer training on the Bay to Baker and Salish Coast Trails. 

    We currently have two dates set for the Bay to Baker Trail. We will add more dates as they are scheduled. Join us for these work parties and sign up in the links below:

  • National Trail Advocacy – Rails to Trails
    In our role serving as Whatcom’s Voice for Regional Trails, we weigh in with our organizations’ representation on local, state, and national levels. We especially appreciate the support that our local Representative Rick Larsen has shown as the Ranking Member on the Committee on Transportation & Infrastructure.

    Penny Senger Sanford Memorial Stone
