Givebackgoplaystory

Backcountry Essentials is making April a month to encourage community engagement!  They are going about this in a couple of ways: one is to highlight some local non profits at a table in the shop, educate customers on who they are, what they do, volunteer opportunities, and how they can get involved.  They also want to encourage signing up, getting out there, and doing some volunteer work, so all month long they will offer raffle tickets for volunteer time.

In April, Backcountry Essentials will be giving out raffle tickets in appreciation. Since volunteer work can be seasonal, they will honor anything within the last 6 months. They will ask for a photo or email showing your volunteer hours when you come in… but they are also going to be very trusting=)

Raffle prizes include a Kavu pack, a pair of Altra shoes, a Patagonia pack, and a free rental from Backcountry Essentials.

In the first week of May we contact the winners of the raffle prizes!
