Planting in a Pandemic

May 22, 2020 by Todd Elsworth 1 Comment

Note: This post was written well after the fact. We had to get it down to remember the times as we come to the close at the end of the year. Yes, it may say published in May, but we know how to work around that! 😉 te

We got some plants from Bay at Plantas Nativas. We had cleared out some space and figured that we should fill it in with native plants. Who better to turn to than the native plant guy himself? Thanks Bay!!

Our Wetland Biologist, Perry showed us what 6 feet apart looked like as he directed us in where to put our plants and keep our distance from people.

Smile for the camera. (Yes, it’s on a timer. It was during the early outset of the pandemic and we were keeping to ourselves as best we knew how.

Heads down, focused on gettin’ ‘er done!

“Yes, dad, I am working and having fun during the pandemic”. NOT.

Posers!

Selfie stick…

Yup. Rockstar. She’s been at this since the beginning. What does she get out of it? She does have her name on the Rock Bench and maybe, just maybe, she enjoys “going to work with dad”.

What a great combo the two of you make. Nothing more refreshing than a little work in the woods. The difference you are making makes an even bigger difference to all the people who pass by on their wilderness treks. Congrats galore!!!
