While our offices weren’t OPEN today as a result of the pandemic, in the first place, we post and share this to show that our ears and our minds aren’t CLOSED. This effort is in support of the Black Lives Matter Seattle-King County call for a statewide strike. We applaud those businesses who have recently opened, who had the courage and compassion to close in solidarity!
We hope you join in this important call to action, and encourage all to donate to organizations dedicated to taking direct action changing systemic racial injustice. Black Lives Matter!
If it were the case that we were OPEN for business today, it would be a delight to show you our new office space downtown. Well, the cat’s outta the bag, now that we have signs installed out front of our offices! As we move through the phases, we will have our new Headquarters as a launching point and meeting space for our community as we move forward. We have a lot of work to do! This is our most recent and relevant post: Parkscriptions: Diversity, Equity and Inclusion – Values, Goals and Strategies 2019
As far as the new HQ goes, keep an eye out as you’re coming up E. Chestnut on the right.
If you’re cruising on North Forest we’re on your right!
Our bold sign, next to our front door, with the COOP sign in the background:
#BlackLivesMatter
