Description

From Recreation Northwest’s downtown Bellingham Headquarters, hop aboard our Adventure Shuttle to Woodstock Farm perched on Chuckanut Drive for unique access to Arroyo Park. Woodstock Farm’s Cyrus Gates donated the land for the park in 1923. Our hike will leave from the Gates property and connect to the Interurban Greenways leading to Arroyo Park and the trails that wind through the hillsides above the base of north Chuckanut Mountains.

This is an out and back hike with the destination and turnaround point at an overlook at Chuckanut Falls. Along the hike we will enjoy the serene natural setting the dense forest canopy provides. You’ll hear stories along the way highlighting the development of the park over the years.

Public Parking is limited in this popular local destination. We offer the Adventure Shuttle as a means for sustainable public access to public parks.

Listed in Craig Romano’s Urban Trails Bellingham, published by Mountaineers Books.
