Description

Identifying vegetation in the wintertime can be tricky. Come learn about different ways of identifying trees when their leaves have fallen!

Do you ever go wandering in the woods wondering what plants/trees you are walking by or under? Have you ever considered eating some of those plants? Join our guide as they take you on a short stroll identifying some of these native plants.

They will also focus on how indigenous people have used these plants for medicinal and traditional purposes, and still continue to use them. Your guide will also teach you how to properly identify some of these edible plants, so bring you appetite!

We as an organization are adhering to the latest scientific data and safety measures regarding Covid-19 in alignment with the local health department. With all this in mind, we acknowledge the benefits of getting outside in nature with respect to mental health.
