Celebrate the start of 2022 with Recreation Northwest! Join your guide as we gaze up at the expansive night sky! Have you ever wondered what constellations make up the night sky or the mythology tales that accompany these? Come find out and let’s hope for a clear sky.
If the weather is not on our side, then we will take a stroll on the trails and investigate how nocturnal animals adapt to the night time. We may be stepping outside of our comfort zone, as we become comfortable walking the trails at night using our senses learning about the nocturnal critters that become alive at night!
Bring a blanket to gaze up at the night sky and warm clothes!
We as an organization are adhering to the latest scientific data and safety measures regarding Covid-19 in alignment with the local health department. With all this in mind, we acknowledge the benefits of getting outside in nature with respect to mental health.
