This guided experience will teach you how to reduce stress through outdoor relaxation tools and methods. Connecting to the natural elements and grounding yourself through sensory techniques. We will use movement, observation, and deep breathing.
This course takes place at Woodstock Farm. Parking is very limited at the farm, we offer a free round trip shuttle service departing from the Recreation Northwest office downtown Bellingham 30 minutes prior to this course. Riding a bike to Woodstock Farm is also an excellent alternative to the shuttle.
As Parkscriptions Program Director, Elizabeth Nelson brings passion for community health by promoting the positive connection and health benefits of time spent in nature. She has a broad range of experience in running her own business, nonprofit and government organizations. Her program management, graphic design and marketing skills combined with her background in community health bring a unique perspective to her work. She enjoys hiking, running, playing soccer, and exploring new trails with her two daughters.
