Have you ever wondered as you walked by a mushroom, can I eat that? Come join our guide in the 100-Acre Wood as you explore the fungi kingdom. Using field guides we will explore the fungi and learn about how they provide an interconnected network to provide the forest with nutrients. During this introductory course, we will learn the anatomy of a mushroom, and which ones you can harvest for a meal back in your kitchen.
Let’s try and find the elusive morel mushrooms and other types of fungi that occur after the spring rains.
