Description

Volunteers! Join us at our first public Work Party of 2021 in Fairhaven Park.  As Stewards of Fairhaven Park, we have been working to remove invasive species, improve public access, and reclaim habitat with native plants.

In order to keep up our Native Plant Gardens, we host Work Parties as volunteer opportunities for you to invest in the health of the park.  Your task will be to dig out the roots of sprouting blackberries and covering the area with mulch to prevent more growth around our younger plants. Afterward, we’ll convene at Stones Throw Brewery to wind up the afternoon and celebrate our accomplishments.
