May 14th- Basecamp in Fairhaven Park & Stones Throw Brewery

May 8, 2019 by Todd Elsworth Leave a Comment

Tuesday, May 14th

5:00 pm – 6:00 pm Work Party in Fairhaven Park

6:15 pm – 7:00 pm After Party at Stones Throw Brewery

Each month in Bellingham, we host our Basecamp events to bring people from the outdoor recreation industry together.  This month, we’re adding something new to the mix! We’ll start the Basecamp with a work party in Fairhaven Park as part of our Stewardship project. We will be removing invasive species to protect our native plants. Tools and gloves will be provided. Wear reasonable clothing, please.

All Work Party participants will receive a Stones Throw Brewery coin– good for one beverage of your choice. After the work party we will reconvene at Stones Throw to celebrate our work and get to know each other even better! New Public Food Truck will be onsite with great Tacos and other menu items. For those in the mood, head up to the upper deck for Sunset Yoga.

WORK PARTY = FREE BEER!

Basecamps are an opportunity to get together with your colleagues in outdoor recreation. Get to know each other, develop new business ideas, and just have some FUN.

Invited: Outdoor recreation business owners & employees, Recreation students, and anyone who loves to play outside are welcome to join us.

Bring a Friend.

We’re also having another Fairhaven Park Work Party on Saturday, May 18th from 10:00 am – 12:00 pm.

Same situation. Work Party + After Party = Free Beer! Thank you Stones Throw Brewery for hosting.
