Moving to a Saturday afternoon in a larger venue to accommodate both the Recreation Northwest EXPO exhibitors and the visitors from around the region in the Pacific NW was a great call! We’re delighted it worked out so well for everybody.
People came from all over – we had 1800 people come through the EXPO on Saturday!!
There were 65 exhibitors representing gear manufacturers, retailers, land manager, coaches & guides, stewardship & advocacy organizations, health & wellness professionals, races and the outdoor media.
One of the big highlights for kids of all ages was a chance to sit with Smokey Bear! Here’s our EXPO Queen, , celebrating with our special guest of the day.
Smiles abounded on the faces of Exhibitors, Chuck and Tanya Kitterman from Square One Maps. Their maps were flying off the racks in the hands of happy customers.
The big open space in the upper floor of the terminal afforded sweeping views of Bellingham Bay. Bill Hasenjaeger with Trail Boss, looks on with a grin while enjoying people checking out his locally-made tools,
Corey Salas from Yeager’s Sporting Goods introducing some new equipment that they have to offer this year! They will be up at Lake Padden soon, so you can go try these and other watercraft!
What a great day we all had! Thank you to those who came.
For those of you who missed out…we’ll be doing it again in the same spot next year!
