AUGUST GREEN DRINKS – Hosted by Recreation Northwest and Community Boating Center

July 24, 2013 by Todd Elsworth

We are proud to be hosting August Bellingham Green Drinks with our partners at the Community Boating Center. We’ll have Boundary on Tap and some other quaff-able liquids and tasty treats from Fairhaven Pizza. Come early and get out on the water.

Consider this a Company Team (informal) Information Night.

Bring your team to Bellingham Green Drinks and meet some of The TRAVERSE CREW. We’ll be on site with maps of the course and able to answer any information you may have to help you put together the right team for you.

Hear what these teams have to say about training and getting it together:

Wednesday, August 7th
5:00 pm – 7:00 pm

Community Boating Center, co-host of August Green Drinks
The Community Boating Center fosters small watercraft education and access to natural resources from its facility on the public shoreline of Fairhaven Harbor.  A grassroots, volunteer-driven nonprofit, the CBC rents kayaks, sailboats, paddleboards and rowboats to anyone who seeks the rewards of sail-driven or human-powered recreation on Bellingham Bay. Read more.

Bellingham Traverse is a multi-sport event celebrating the life cycle of wild salmon and the natural and urban challenges of their journey. Solo, tandem and relay teams challenge themselves and one another on a rugged course that highlights the City of Bellingham’s Parks, Greenways System, bike-friendly roads, and open water opportunities for recreation. Read more.
