Lake Whatcom Park planning

April 16, 2014 by Todd Elsworth

Folks,

Would you like to see really well-built singletrack in the new Lake Whatcom Park?  Would you like to see connectors into Galby?  Would you like to see any mt. bike specific trails?  If so, please mark your calendars for the first planning meeting for the Reconveyance lands on Stewart and Lookout Mountains.

I know many of you were at County Council meetings and wrote letters of support over the years to help make this park a reality, so let’s ensure that mt. bikers and other trail users are well represented at these meetings.  This is important on many levels.  I’ll send an update in a couple of weeks with more info. and talking points, but until then please plan to attend this meeting.

What:  Lake Whatcom park planning

When:   Tuesday, April 29th 6:30 PM

Where:  Bellingham Senior Center at 315 Halleck St.

Cheers,

Eric Brown, WMBC
