Let Randy Klien know for Larrabee Planning

April 16, 2014 by Todd Elsworth

From Eric Brown, WMBC:

Last night’s Larrabee planning meeting was significantly smaller than the first, but the mt. bike community was still well represented.  If you couldn’t attend, could you please take 5 minutes to email Randy Kline?  Every email helps….seriously.

Send an email to:  Larrabee.Planning@parks.wa.gov

Items you could bring up:

More trails open for mt. bikes in the park – including a trail below Double Black Diamond.
Adding a Chuckanut to Blanchard connector – high priority!
Continue to allow mt. bike access in areas around Lost Lake
Securing a trail easement through the Westergreen property and rerouting the Overlander trail
Bridge over the railroad tracks to Clayton Beach
Potentially managing or purchasing the area south of the park (DNR land)
Potentially giving the non-contiguous areas in the northern end of the park to Whatcom County Parks to manage

Cheers,

EB, WMBC
