Community Boating Center
555 Harris Ave. Fairhaven View Map

Join the Green Drinks Bellingham Facebook Event.

We’ll have fresh beer on tap, wine, some snacks and great conversation.

Come to the Community Boating Center at 555 Harris Ave. in Fairhaven and see their fleet of boats, meet the staff and learn about their programs, classes and tours. Recreation Northwest has some exciting news to share as well. Join us and those in the community who care.

BoatingCenterThe Community Boating Center in Bellingham’s Fairhaven Historic District offers direct access to Bellingham Bay. Located next to the Port of Bellingham Cruise Terminal, the facility is a great launching point for beginning boaters and visitors to the area. The Boating Center offers rentals, classes and guided trips from their Fairhaven location. The purpose of the organization is to provide access for people to get out on the water in small boats with the knowledge and equipment necessary in the Pacific Northwest marine environment.

Recreation Northwest staff and board will also be on-site to discuss the events that they host: Northwest Traverse Multi-Sport Series (Winthrop, Olympia, North Bend and Bellingham); Quest Adventure Races; Recreation Northwest EXPO 2015; and the programs they provide in education and stewardship for the region. Come learn about their new project in Fairhaven Park and the Forest.
