Starting at 2:00 pm solar panels will be delivered from by bike and kayak from Itek Energy’smanufacturing facility in Bellingham, for final installation of the solar array on the roof of the Taylor Dock shelter. Once installed, the array will help power the lights on Taylor Dock.  The solar array is a gift from Puget Sound Energy for the community’s work in supporting the Green Power program, which helps residents and businesses match their energy with clean, renewable energy, generated in the Pacific Northwest. Community Boating Center is proud to be providing rowers and boats for this event and The Hub is stoked to be partnering on the bike portion.
