Nature Navigators: After-School Program
This after-school program is designed to support youth by harnessing the natural healing power of the outdoors and the immersive, social-emotional curriculum of Parkscriptions. Our goal is to create a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment where students feel seen, valued, and connected. Through Nature Navigators, students have the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with nature, their community, and themselves. Our goal is to teach students how to return to a park and use these skills; by themself, with family, or with friends.
Who: Youth aged 13-18
Locations: Meeting Location – School Lobby
BHS/OHS – Maritime Heritage Park (Tuesdays)
SQHS – Northridge Park (Wednesdays)
SHS – Connelly Creek Trail (Thursdays)
Time & Duration: 3:30 PM-5:30 PM
8 weeks
Fall Session: September 30th – November 21st
Cost: $200 sessions, $25 a day, Scholarships available (please reach out to )
